So, there's a part of me that is so excited and stressed and has itself wrapped into a tightly wound ball of nerves.

Why, one might ask?

Well, dear ones, at the end of this month (Halloween, actually) my time at LocalShops1's location in Gulfport is finished :(  Since I was only renting per month and now that people are finding out about my nice little space, they have already booked through April! 

That's AWESOME for LocalShops1 and I am so excited for them and the small businesses/artists that have signed up! What an opprotunity for them, especially now that the holiday shopping season is getting underway! They're going to get flooded! YAY for them!

But I can't help but feel so sad for myself because I am having such a BLAST there!

So, now I find myself in this think tank where I am pouring over the question of, "What now? Now what do I do?"

I have some shows I am signed up for - although a lot of them are left in limbo since my feline companion had an emergency issue come up right when some payments were due for confirming my booth space at these shows.

While I am super bummed at the prospect of having to skip on these, his health is much more important and his surgery is scheduled tomorrow in which case we will get an idea of how much I will owe the vet's office and THEN I can finish planning (or canceling) the shows I signed up for.

We shall see!

I think I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed with this looming season and feeling uncertain since there's a sense of need to confirm plans and payments that I am already tight on money to afford... it can just feel like a larger deal that it is at times.

Sometimes typing it out on here and "talking it out" with you guys helps it feel smaller and more containable. :)

Regardless of how many shows I am able to attend, I am so PUMPED to be able to do any!

Last year, since I was just getting started, it was even more difficult to afford shows and I was only able to book 2.  My first that was Shopapalooza (as you know if you've read my rambling blogs before) and the second was ArtPool Gallery's Holiday Show!  Both I HIGHLY recommend as they really showed me how much FUN shows can be!

Since this year, I am already confirmed for 2, that means I'm already matching last year's involvement and so anymore would be an improvement/bonus from last year which is good! :D

Praying that my little buddy doesn't have to go through more than is already planned and that it is doable to confirm more shows but time will tell. :)
